Biography

Samira Khadivizand (she/her, born. 1983) is an Iranian Australian visual artist based in Melbourne/Naarm. Currently she is a Master of Fine Art candidate at RMIT university. Khadivizand Graduated BA in Theatre Stage and Set Design from Fine Arts Faculty, Tehran University, Iran.

In 2010 she migrated to Australia and lived in Wollongong NSW for 5 years, where she began a new phase of her artistic journey, as a part time painter, her first solo exhibition -Beginning- was held at Lee & Me Gallery in Wollongong, between 2012 and 2014, alongside participation in several group exhibitions in the region. Khadivizand is now living and working in Melbourne since 2017.
